Welcome to the ALL NEW home page for Dillon Gee! Come on in and enjoy the game!
Dillon Gee UTA Roster Picture Hey Guys, this site is intended to let you into the life of a minor leaguer and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you might have. Starting the 2008 season I will be posting pictures to show what we do day in and day out. I've been through alot going from high school to college then college to pro ball and wish I could have found a site like this to ask someone questions who has gone through the same thing!

Check out the site often and enjoy the ride through my eyes.

Hey here is a neat little video from MLB about 5'11" Tim Lincecum's mechanics and his 93 to 98 mph fastball. CLICK HERE

Ive been home for about a month and a half now and just started working out again.  The mets sent me a nice packet to follow step by step.  As some of you might know minor league baseball doesn't pay a whole lot so I am also working as a valet in Dallas. Really this is the most important time for baseball players because this is the time to build the foundation that will carry me through the season. Other than that its a pretty boring time!!

New York Mets Invitation only Workout
Written by Dillon Gee
May 28, 2007 at 10:14 PM

rball.gif I was invited to attend an invitation only workout for the New York Mets, Monday 5-28-2007 at Blinn College. When I arrived at the field this morning the workout ended up being cancelled due to the heavy rain that began falling while I was there. When they cancelled the workout, several players, including me, were invited to workout at the 2nd Baptist indoor facility in Houston in front of the Mets Scouting Coordinator, Crosschecker, and some Area Scouts. I was very happy to get the chance to throw in front of these Scouts.

WORKOUT RESULTS:
Pitch Type             Speed          Location
Fastballs                93-94           Low/away  Low/In
Sliders                    81-83           Low/Away
Changeup             81-82            LowAway Lefty
